About the Founder

Sello Mashile

Sello Senex Mashile was born on the 15th of November in the year of 1956. He is a Husband to Angela Mashile.
He was born into a poor family that couldn’t even buy him shoes that was 54 years ago in Bushbuckridge. Now Sello Mashile is a well-respected business man in Mamelodi west Section C (A3).
He was working for an insurance company in 2006 when he decided to resign and open his own funeral parlor. Sello said “some people thought I was making a fool of myself because I didn’t have the cash to run it properly” but the company did well. Today he has more than 50 employees. “When some people noticed that my business was growing fast, they shot me twice, but God saved me. I have buried more than 50 clients free of charge after I realized the pressure their families where under”. Beside the funeral parlor Sello also runs a few catering and decorating companies around Gauteng. Sello held headlines by offering to help 3 families whose kids drowned at Moretele Park. He said I wanted to donate to the three families because losing a child is like cutting yourself with a sharp knife.

About the Company

Mashile Funeral Service is a company founded in Mamelodi by Sello Senex Mashile, It has over 60 employees both temporary and permanent. It is a Company that provides the excellent Funeral services, that include transportation of the family, relatives and friends of the deceased to and from the cemetry. Mashile Funeral Services also provides all the catering and decoration at the funeral and gravesite, the company has helped over 1000 families in their most time of need.
